Sacem, renewing deal with IMPEL, strengthens ties with independent publishers
In April 2018, Sacem announced an unprecedented partnership for digital copyright management with IMPEL, the largest licensing network of independent music publishers.
After 2 years of collaboration, with digital use gaining an increasingly central and strategic role, IMPEL has chosen to renew its confidence in Sacem.
Already known for the quality, diversity and dynamism of its repertoire — which includes works by outstanding acts like Dua Lipa, David Bowie, Beyoncé and Drake — IMPEL just keeps adding new members to its growing list of famous independent publishers. Thanks to the quality of Sacem's services and powerful tools like its URights management platform, IMPEL gets transparent access to data via Sacem's tools and can carry out any number of analyses on its repertoires as it tracks performance and ensures fair remuneration.
