Sacem offers LeakID to members, a tool in the fight against piracy

To enhance the defense of creators and publishers rights, SACEM is providing a service to fight piracy as part of the SACEM Plus offer.

SACEM Plus is dedicated to SACEM members, available for free via their membership account on sacem.fr/en. It represents the complete range of offers and exclusive advantages available to support members in the development of their activities.

By offering LeakID, a major player in the protection of content on the Internet, SACEM enables its members to effect:
- The removal of links to works registered at SACEM, on websites or streaming platforms, hosting platforms) or social networks unauthorised by SACEM.
- The removal of illicit links to works on the Google search engine

SACEM members (authors, authors-directors, composers, publishers) can report directly through their membership account, up to 10 links per day they would like to be removed,

The implementation of this tool fits with SACEM’s policy to fight counterfeit and piracy.
